After 14 years, the renowned Perur Patteeswarar Temple is set to host the Maha Kumbabishekam on February 10. In preparation for this event, a new pavillion has been built at a cost of Rs. 12 crores to facilitate the devotees.
The temple, where the last Kumbabishekam was held in 2010, is currently undergoing intense preparations for the upcoming ceremony. The new pavillion includes 50 pavilions, restrooms, waiting areas, a green space, parking facilities, and all other necessary amenities.
Additionally, nine pillars symbolizing the Navagrahas (nine planets) have been installed in the pavillion. The temple management announced today (Jan 20) that the new pavillion will be opened for public use on the day of the Kumbabishekam.
