The Coimbatore District Police released a notification on January 20, announcing the selection of 74 male Village Security Force personnel for the district force.
Applications are invited from individuals interested in joining the Village Security Force. Application forms can be obtained free of cost from the respective police stations and the Village Security Force offices in Mettupalayam, Periyanaickenpalayam, and Pollachi from tomorrow until January 31.
Completed applications must be submitted at the designated police station within their jurisdiction or dropped in the box at the Coimbatore District Police Office by 5:00 PM on February 5. Applications submitted after this deadline will not be accepted.
Applicants must be between 18 and 50 years of age as of December 31, 2024, in good physical condition, and have a clean character. A minimum qualification of 10th standard pass or failure is required. The completed application must include copies of the Transfer Certificate (TC) or mark sheet for educational qualification, Aadhar card, proof of residence, and family card.
Applicants must be residents of Tamil Nadu and live within the jurisdiction of police stations under the Coimbatore District Police.
Candidates should commit to serving in the Village Security Force for at least three years.
The notification clarified that individuals employed in central or state government services, self-employed, or working in reputable organizations are also eligible to apply.
