In Coimbatore North Zone, Ward No. 27, Peedampedu Lal Bahadur Colony, the work of shredding cut plants and trees removed by the Electricity Board (EB) was carried out today (Jan 24) using shredding machines.
Ward Councillor Ambika Dhanapal visited the area in person and inspected the work. She directed the sanitation workers to ensure that all the cut plants and trees were completely shredded.
Later, garbage cleaning work was undertaken near the main road of Avarampalayam in Peedampedu, close to the Sri Gopal Naidu Children’s School, Ward No. 27. Councillor Ambika Dhanapal personally inspected this work as well.
She emphasized to the sanitation workers the importance of thoroughly cleaning the roadside garbage.
And Ward No. 27, Peedampedu, Coimbatore Corporation Primary School is undergoing the construction of a new kitchen. Councillor Ambika Dhanapal visited the site today (Jan 24) to inspect the progress of the work.
She instructed the contractor to complete the work quickly without causing any inconvenience to the school children. It is noteworthy that the headmaster of the school was present during the inspection.
