In Sultanpet Union, Coimbatore district, the swearing-in ceremony of the newly appointed trustees of Sencherimalai Mandhiragiri Velayusamy Temple was held today (January 28). The ceremony was conducted by Coimbatore District Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments (HR&CE) Assistant Commissioner P. Indira in the presence of Coimbatore South District DMK Secretary Thalapathy Murugesan. The newly appointed trustees are M. Palanisamy, A. Easwaran, M. Vivekanandan, Nirmala Devi Murugesh, and A. Rajendran.
Following the ceremony, M. Palanisamy was unanimously elected as the chairman of the trustee board.
The event was attended by Coimbatore District Trustee Board Member Cibi K. Senthilkumar, Sulur Range Inspector T. Vadivukarasi, Sultanpet East Union Secretary M.K. Muthumanickam, Sultanpet West Union Secretary P.V. Mahalingam, East Union Council Chairman P.R. Rajan, West Union Council Chairman Rajendran, along with Sultanpet Union administrators, numerous party members, and devotees.
