The Coimbatore District Collector, Kranti Kumari Padi, has instructed that individuals seeking compensation for land acquisition related to the road project in Pollachi should contact the Coimbatore office starting from February 1st. The instructions were given on January 30.
Regarding this, she stated that the National Highways Authority has acquired land for road construction from the Udumalai Pettai and Anthiyur border areas to the Gomangalamputhoor to Okkilipalayam Anjaneyar Temple section on National Highway 209 in Pollachi Taluk. Compensation for the acquired lands is being provided to the landowners.
Therefore, landowners who wish to claim compensation should submit the necessary documents and can contact the dedicated revenue office in Udumalai Pettai.
From February 1st onwards, individuals can visit the land acquisition office located behind Redfield and Om Shakti Hospital on Savarimuthu Chettiar Street in Coimbatore for submitting their documents and obtaining necessary details.
