An event titled “Bridging Governance: Coimbatore Panchayats and Tribal Leadership” was organized today (27.01.2025) at Kumaraguru College of Arts and Science, Coimbatore. The program, held under the auspices of political and social sciences, featured Arivarasu, the president of Koodalur Municipality, as the special guest, representing the Koodalur Town Panchayat.
During the event, Arivarasu delivered a speech highlighting the importance of panchayat governance and empowering tribal communities through leadership initiatives. The event witnessed the participation of over 100 people, including the Malai Vazh Makkal (tribal communities) from the Paralikadu region, who added to the significance of the gathering.
A highlight of the event was the traditional music performance by the tribal community of Balamalai, which captivated the audience and created a vibrant atmosphere.
