The Lok Sabha elections in Coimbatore district were conducted smoothly and peacefully. Coimbatore Collector Kranti Kumar has been selected for an award recognizing his exceptional management of election duties and efforts to raise awareness among voters about the importance of casting their votes.
The award will be presented on National Voters’ Day, January 25, at an event in Chennai. Tamil Nadu Governor Ravi will present the award, as announced by Tamil Nadu Chief Electoral Officer Archana Patnaik on January 22.
