The Coimbatore Municipal Corporation released a press note today (January 23) announcing that a student from Coimbatore has won accolades in the state-level arts festival conducted for students from classes 1 to 5. The event was held at KPR College of Arts and Science, Coimbatore, on January 4, 2025.
In the patriotic song category, S. Manasvini, a Class 5 student from Coimbatore Corporation Middle School, Shahjahan Nagar, secured the first prize. She will receive her award tomorrow (January 24, 2025) at a ceremony organized at the Anna Centenary Library, Chennai. The award will be presented by the Honorable Minister of School Education.
Additionally, in the solo melody song competition, A. Antrinall Princi, a Class 5 student from Coimbatore Corporation Primary School, Kalapatti, secured second prize at the state level.
