Coimbatore: Ward 27 Councilor Ambika Thanapal Inspects Ongoing Cleaning Works in Peelamedu Area

In Coimbatore’s Ward 27, cleaning work is underway along the main road from Mahalakshmi Temple to ABC Apartments in Peelamedu Awarampalayam, with plants and trees being cleaned.

Ward Councilor Ambika Thanapal personally visited the area on January 31 to inspect and oversee the progress of the cleaning efforts.

The RR Team conducted mosquito larvae removal and bleaching powder application in the Peelamedu Kavetti Rangasamy Street area as part of dengue mosquito eradication efforts. Similarly, cleaning work was carried out in the drainage behind the Peelamedu Black Mariamman Temple. Ambika Thanapal inspected these areas as well and instructed the sanitation workers to thoroughly clean the drainage and immediately remove any blockages.

The Ward Councilor also visited the Shanti Nagar area in Peelamedu to ensure the proper functioning of the daily garbage collection carts and instructed the sanitation staff to clean all the waste along the streets. She further advised the public to segregate their waste into biodegradable and non-biodegradable categories.

Additionally, drainage cleaning was carried out on Ambika Silks Street in Peelamedu’s Kanakku Pillai Street on the same day.
