The Coimbatore City Corporation carried out a waste removal operation today (Jan 29) in Ward 27, Peelamedu Gopal Nagar, clearing garbage from the roadsides. Ward Councillor Ambika Danapal personally inspected the work and instructed sanitation workers to ensure complete cleaning of the area.
Similarly, in the Peelamedu Pound Road area, a drain and roadside vegetation cleaning drive was conducted today (Jan 29). Councillor Ambika Danapal inspected the operation and directed workers to clear the drains and overgrown plants completely.
Additionally, a drain cleaning operation was undertaken today (Jan 29) in Peelamedu Thookinar Street, Ward 27. Councillor Ambika Danapal visited the site, reviewed the work, and instructed sanitation workers to ensure thorough cleaning of the drainage system.
The councillor also inspected whether the daily waste collection auto was functioning properly in Rajagopal Layout, Ward 27. She interacted with the public and advised them to segregate waste into biodegradable and non-biodegradable categories.
Groundbreaking Ceremony for Wastewater Canal Renovation in Karamadai Ward 19
A Bhoomi Pooja ceremony was held today (Jan 29) for the renovation of the wastewater canal in Ward 19 under Karamadai Municipality. The event was organized by Karamadai Municipal Council Chairperson Mrs. Usha Venkatesh, with DMK party officials and local residents in attendance.
