A.S. Shankar, the Indian National Congress Councillor of Coimbatore Corporation’s Ward 74, visited the Indira Nagar area today (Jan 24) to hear the grievances of the residents.
He immediately urged Coimbatore Corporation officials to resolve issues related to drinking water and sanitation services. Accompanying him were Poovai Thirumagan, V. Kannan, Thalapathi Mani, and S. Anand.
Additionally, with a budget allocation of ₹5 lakh from the Councillor’s Fund, the construction of a deep borewell commenced today (Jan 24) at the Kannadi Godown area.
Ward 74 DMK Secretary R. Veeramani, Congress Ward President R. Muniyappan, Indira Nagar residents Jai Ganesh, Udhayakumar, Poovai Thirumagan, V. Kannan, and S. Anand were present at the event.
