Coimbatore police have issued notices today (Jan 29) on vehicles abandoned for a long time in Ukkadam, urging owners to remove them immediately.
Residents of Al Ameen Colony and Rose Garden in Ukkadam had protested against the accumulation of garbage and abandoned vehicles, which were causing inconvenience. In response, municipal officials and police assured immediate action, leading to the withdrawal of the protest.
Following this, municipal workers cleared the garbage, and police pasted notices on the unattended vehicles, warning that they would be seized if not removed promptly.
