The police have arrested three individuals involved in a robbery at a dentist’s house in Pollachi. They seized 136 pounds of jewelry, Rs. 3 lakh in cash, and the car used by the suspects.
Karthik, a 40-year-old dentist from Pollachi, traveled with his family to Kochi on January 12. On January 14, his neighbors contacted him via phone, informing him that the front doors of his house were open.
Upon returning, Karthik discovered that 136 pounds of jewelry and Rs. 3 lakh in cash had been stolen from his cupboard. The Mahalungapuram police then registered a case and began investigating the matter.
Under the leadership of the District SP, Karthikeyan, three special teams were formed to track down the culprits. The police analyzed CCTV footage and conducted an intense investigation with the help of Cyber Crime Police.
Through their efforts, they identified the suspects: 24-year-old Vairamani, 32-year-old Manisankar, and 37-year-old Karthik, all from Madurai district’s Mattuthavani. The trio was arrested on January 30.
