A 31-year-old man, Rajesh, was arrested on January 19 for attempting to break into a shop in RS Puram.
The shop, located on MDK Road, is owned by Ibrahim, who runs a business selling mosquito nets. On January 18, a young man attempted to break into the shop by forcing the door open. However, Ibrahim saw the suspect in the act, prompting the burglar to flee the scene.
Following the incident, Ibrahim filed a complaint at the RS Puram police station. After conducting an investigation, the police identified the suspect as Rajesh, a resident of Kozhinjampara, Kerala.
The police arrested Rajesh the following day and remanded him to judicial custody.
